Voor Aalsmeer staat er vanavond veel op het spel. De ploeg van trainer René Romeijn moet thuis winnen van de Lions om nog enigszins uitzicht te houden op de bovenste plekken in de poule. De Aalsmeerders hebben nu al 5 punten achterstand op nummer twee Bevo. De Lions zijn koploper in de groep (10 punten) en zullen in Aalsmeer moeten winnen om achtervolgers Bevo (9 punten) en Hurry-Up (8 punten) niet dichterbij te zien komen.
