Met hun Hongaarse club Györ wonnen de beide Nederlanders overtuigend de uitwedstrijd tegen FTC Rail Cargo Hungaria (18-31) en daarmee lijkt de return een formaliteit. Nycke Groot was goed voor vijf doelpunten, Yvette Broch voor één.

Ook Lois Abbingh kwam vanmiddag in de kwartfinale in actie. Met haar club Baia Mare kon zij in een thuiswedstrijd niet winnen van Budocnost (24-29) en daarmee wordt het halen van de Final Four een loodzware opgave. Abbingh maakte vier doelpunten.
